RAM KUND
Ramkund is one of the most important places in Nashik. Ramkund is situated in the heart of Nashik's old city. It is the holiest place in Nashik for pilgrims and tourists also attract to it. The kund was built in 1696. People believed that Lord Rama and his beloved wife Sitaji used to take bath in the holy water of Ramkund during the time of his exile and it is also believed that he performed the death rituals of his father King Dashrath. Therefore many people come to do death rituals of their beloved ones and immerse ashes in the kund. Because of this ashes and not maintenance unfortunately it became dirty. Apart from this longest peninsular river in India "Godavari'' falls with the sharp ninety-degree angle that makes the place worthwhile to visit.
PANDAVLENI CAVES
The 24 rock-cut caves was as old as Karla caves near Lonavala. Caves left the mark of Buddhism and belong to 2nd Century BC and construction of the caves was carved during 3rd Century BC to 2nd Century AD. After the decline of Buddhism, Jain monks contributed to structuring the caves. Among all 24 caves which are of Vihara style architecture numbers 18, 3, and 10 are very famous. Number 18th cave is a prayer hall with a stupa which is Chaitya style architecture and number 3rd is known for its sculptures of idols while number 10 for its inscriptions on the wall which speak a lot about Buddhist teachings. In the southwest of Nashik Pandavleni caves 15 minutes away just off Mumbai Nashik highway. People used to visit the place early in the morning before caves get hot and carvings get illuminated by the sun. On the east side of caves Sula Vineyards occupies an area of 160 acres which is the first commercial vineyard in the valley. From the caves grown in local Nashik and Dindori wine was produced. You can also visit the resort made for wine lovers and enjoy your day.
TRIMBAKESHWAR
Trimbakeshwar Temple is situated at the foothills of mountain Brahmagiri in town Trimbak and built by Peshwa Balaji Bajirao. The entire Temple is made up of black stone and is famous for its architecture and sculptures. It is one of the most ancient temples and one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. The Jyotirlingas signifies the infinite nature of Lord Shiva. One of the features of Jyotirlingas is that it has three faces signifies Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Mahesh ( Shiv). The Lingas are covered by a crown made up of diamonds, emeralds, and many precious stones that are said to be from the age of Pandavas. In the temple premises, Kusvarta Kund ( pond) is presently built by the famous Fadnavis of Indore Shrimant Sardar Parnekar Raosaheb which is the source of Godavari river. The longest river Godavari in peninsular India originates from brahmagiri mountain Trimbak. The temple is located between three hills Brahmgiri, Nilagiri, and Katagiri.
COIN MUSEUM
Coin Museum is situated in the backdrop of Ajneri Hills of Nashik at the distance of 19 kilometers from Nashik CBS bus station on the campus of the Indian Institute of Research in Numismatic Studies. The museum was founded in 1980 under the IRIN. In the whole of Asia, the museum is the only one of its kind The museum has a fine collection of coins and well-documented history of Indian currencies from the earliest periods to modern times which helps to get knowledge about the Numismatic of India. With the help of coins mold, dyes, replicas, photographs, and brief write-ups it establishes general ideas about Indian coinage, the museum also exhibits dioramas depicting coin minting and coin manufacturing techniques, paintings and some historical artifacts.

Nashik the wine capital of India is flourishing in wine tourism situated at the banks of Godavari river. More than 50 vineyards are situated in and around the city.To reach there all you will need is a car and you can visit in almost all directions.
